About Our Concerts

All Tuesday night concerts start at 7:30pm and are held outdoors on the lakefront at the Stiner Pavilion, the best concert hall on the Lake!  Our guests continue to tell us they enjoy the venue (but the veterans dress for the natural air conditioning). Our Third Coast marina and the Chicago skyline provide the dramatic backdrop missing from inland venues.

Waukegan Band concerts offer free parking and free admission.  Just bring a lawn chair, picnic basket, friends, neighbors, and relatives to enjoy the music!  Parents might also be happy to know that there is an "Arts in the Park" program from the Waukegan Park District that often brings free activities for young children to do quietly during the concert.  We also often have prize drawings during intermission.

In case of inclement weather, please check our website and social media accounts for real-time updates.  Decisions are generally confirmed by 5:00pm on the scheduled concert day, and signage is posted at the Grand Ave. and Sheridan Road lakefront entrance.  www.facebook.com/waukeganband

We welcome the Waukegan Park District "Arts Park" program to our Tuesday night lakefront concerts! They contribute to our family-friendly performances by providing a hands-on kids art experience during the concert. Thank you, Waukegan Park District!

We kindly ask our audience members & young artists to be quiet while doing art during the performances. Kids should be accompanied by adults if possible.
